That’s the sign that will be appearing this season at Meadowbank Stadium, home to Dorking Wanderers Football Club. In order to help spread the word in about our books in what should be a big market for us, the UK, Castalia Library is sponsoring the back of all three jerseys this season, Home, Away, and Third, and it was really great to see the team sporting the blue-and-black away jersey.
It’s still the preseason, but DWFC looks as if they’ve got a very strong team and will be making a strong bid for returning to the National League in their 25th Anniversary year. Castalia Library knows very well what it is like to be the underdog, so we’re quite pleased to be supporters of one of the most legendary clubs in English football.
You can follow along with the Wanderers and their quest for promotion this season at DWTV on YouTube and UATV. If you’re in the UK, the jerseys with the Castalia Library logo are now available from the club shop. The training shirts are pretty sweet, as are the 25th Anniversary Home jerseys.
Even though I cannot appreciate the topic itself fully, I recognize both the importance of preserving the works and the importance of aesthetics (I hate how that word has been hijacked). If I could fund a library of books that I didn't personally read myself, I would include all of these. And I *would* try to read them.
That's a cute logo. I'm excited to see how this has grown. Crazy its been over four years.
