After the mini-debacle that was the hub placement on the three Aristotle books - we didn’t realize that it was necessary to spell out that the three books in the set should absolutely have hubs that aligned vertically - we have since been very careful to make sure that books which make up a set of any kind align properly with each other when lined up next to each other on the shelves.
As you can see from the image below, the hubs on the two 2nd edition covers of THE MISSIONARIES align very well with the 1st edition book, which is important because the 1st edition aligns properly with THE PROMETHEAN. The difference in shape and width is because the two outside covers are not bound books, just stamped covers without interiors.
However, the astute reader may recall that these books were supposed to be bound on July 29th. Unfortunately, the US bindery informed us that they had a problem with their sewing machine, so they pushed the bind date back to August 15th. This will not, however, affect the binding of WAR AND PEACE, which is scheduled in September.
In other production news, here is a first look at DRACULA, which will feature our first dual-foil cover.
You can obtain a copy of THE MISSIONARIES 2nd Edition in time for the initial shipment at the Arkhaven store or at NDM Express.
Fantastic. What's the ETA on Arts of War and Swiss Family Robinson? I'm sure they're going to be real gems as well.
What's a dual foil cover?
