The Heroes of History Stamp

The test stamping for Volume VIII of the Junior Classics is complete

It looks like we might have as many as FOUR books shipping out from the bindery in the USA this month. Below is the test stamp for the leather edition of the Junior Classics Volume VIII, Heroes of History.

The volume, which is also available in hardcover and ebook, features 33 classic tales from history, from The Pass of Thermopylae and The Retreat of the Ten Thousand to The Battle of the Nile, “Remember the Alamo”, and Rorke’s Drift. The cover features Julius Caesar’s famous crossing of the Rubicon, and the spine features a Minuteman from the American Revolutionary war.

The text is always the ultimate test of a stamp’s success, and here we can see that the text is nice and clear, with clean borders and a firm, solid impression.

The Castalia Junior Classics leather set are currently sold out, but we printed enough extra interiors to enable us to print another run once all ten volumes have been completed and shipped to the original backers later this year.
